NTA Administrator and CEO Belinda S. Sanchez administered the oath-taking of four newly hired extension workers and five promoted staff of NTA Pangasinan and La Union during the separate 2022 Year-End Convocation and Christmas Party of the two branch offices, held consecutively on December 13 at the Branch Offices in Rosales, Pangasinan and Bauang, La Union, respectively.
The newly appointed extension workers are Anne Magarett P. De Fiesta, Tobacco Production and Regulation Officer (TPRO) I of NTA Pangasinan; and Regine B. Ducusin, TPRO I; Jesrael P. Rillera, TPRO I; and Karish Joy A. Sixto, TPRO I, of NTA La Union.
Engr. Roger T. Madriaga leads the newly promoted staff in Pangasinan. He was sworn as the new Department Manager III of the Branch Office after serving for about 20 years as Chief Agriculturist. Also promoted for NTA Pangasinan are Edna C. Perlaoan, from TPRO I to TPRO III; and Israel C. Ramos, from Agriculturist I to Agriculturist II.
NTA La Union newly promoted employees are Potenciano H. Apilado, from TPRO II to Senior TPRO and Virgilio A. Garcia, from TPRO I to Agriculturist II.
Director Wilfredo Martinez, member of the NTA Governing Board, joined the celebration in NTA La Union.
Highlights of the year-ending activities were group presentations, parlor games, and awarding of certificates and cash prizes to extension workers (EW) with 100% collection on Rice-Wet Season 2022 and certificates of appreciation for loyalty for employees who have served the agency for 25 years.
Acting Deputy Administrators Dinah E. Pichay (Support Services) and Dr. Giovanni B. Palabay (Operations), and Department Managers of the NTA Central Office joined Administrator Sanchez in her first official visit to the provincial branches after her assumption last November.
