Newly appointed NTA Vigan Manager and NTA Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita project Manager Noralyn I. Idica and Candon OIC Manager Adonis D. Lazo and their staff paid a courtesy call on local officials of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur on January 11.
Mayor Pablito Sanidad, Vice Mayor Caloy Valera, Councilor Joven Ampo Jr, and Municipal Administrator Pablo F. Sanidad II welcomed the new set of project management team of Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita project designated by NTA Administrator and CEO Belinda S. Sanchez.
Project Team Manager Idica discussed with the local officials the concerns of tobacco farmers and the rehabilitation plan for the AgriPinoy facility that heavily damaged by flash floods and earthquakes in the past years.
Lazo presented the new staff composition of the team covering the towns of Narvacan and Nagbukel.
Once rehabilitated, Lazo said the NTA AgriPinoy Project will revive the hog industry benefitting the farmers in Narvacan and its adjacent towns. The project will also help generate jobs and additional income for the residents.
Lazo also discussed with the municipal mayor the schedule of the distribution of farm inputs from the Quick Response Fund downloaded by DA-RFU1 to NTA and other support assistance to the farmers. (FGL/AMC with reports from NTA Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita)
