The National Tobacco Administration held a virtual orientation and training for Job Order hirees of the Central Office in Quezon City on October 20. This is part of the internal trainings scheduled by the Administrative Department for the last quarter to address training and competency gaps of the employees.
The one-day event was attended by 34 Job Order hirees in different departments and units of the CO. They were given lectures on the mandates of the agency and proper decorum by Michell P. Nacpil, HRMO III; Duties and Responsibilities of Current Job and Accomplishment Reports by Zenaida T. Arrojo, chief of the General Services and Procurement Division, and Ophelia T. Gonzales, HRMO IV; Salary Deductions, Absences and Tardiness by Carmelita V. Albano, Senior Bookkeeper; Safe and Healthy Workplace by Dr. Joseph Salter B. Elizalde, Occupational Medicine and Safety Officer; and Values Orientation by Perla C.Manzon, head of the Administrative Services Division; and Issues and Concerns on the Job including Feedbacks and Actions by Atty. Jun Fred V. Parado, Legal Officer V.
Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr., in his message, highlighted responsibility in government service and love of work to the job order hirees. Deputy Administrator for Support Services Benedicto M. Savellano and newly installed OIC of the Administrative Department Mila C. Tiu also delivered their messages.Orientation of newly hired employees both in the Central Office and the Branch Offices will be held on October 26.
