The farmers in Macarcarmay, Bangued, Abra under the IFOIGAP-Rice Project have started harvesting, threshing and drying rice. Marife P. Peralta, Agriculturist I of NTA ABRA, took this picture on November 5 at the farm of farmer cooperator Reynaldo Quidangen during her monitoring visit of rice farmers in the area under the Block Farm. For the Rice Production project in Abra, NTA has released P6.577 million production assistance to 444 farmer cooperators covering an aggregate area of 380 hectares.
