Distribution of farm implements
NTA Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. joined Deputy Speaker and Ilocos Sur (2nd District) Rep. Kristine Singson-Meehan, former Rep. Eric D. Singson, Candon City Mayor Ericson G. Singson and some local officials in the distribution of knapsack sprayers to the tobacco growers on February 23. The farm implements are from the Office of the Deputy Speaker and the City Government of Candon.
Administrator Seares affirmed his support for immediate assistance, remedial interventions and future preventive measures to be undertaken by the local government units for the benefit of the tobacco growers.
Staff meeting
NTA Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. and Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana met with NTA Candon staff, headed by Officer-in-Charge Adonis D. Lazo, at the Branch Office in Candon City on February 23. The Administrator commended their dedication in implementing projects and programs for the agency as he expressed his full support to the Candon employees. He also congratulated the 10 new extension workers (TPROs and Agriculturists) in the Branch Office whose appointments were confirmed recently by the Civil Service Commission.
