Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana, representing Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr., and Corporate Planning Manager Fortuna C. Benosa presented the FY 2023 Proposed Budget for Priority Programs and Projects for Region 1 during the 1st Quarter Regular Economic Development Sectoral Committee (EdSeCom) Meeting on March 9.
Presided by Regional Executive Director of DA Region 1 Nestor Domenden, the virtual meeting was attended by representatives of agencies who are members of the Economic Development Sector of Region 1. Most of the programs, activities and projects are included in the Sustainable Tobacco Enhancement Program (STEP) presented to the Regional Development Council last year.
According to Benosa, the STEP has already been approved by the same committee for endorsement to the Regional Development Council (RDC Full Council) which will meet on March 30 for the discussion and approval.
