Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. paid a courtesy call on Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc at the Provincial Capitol on March 17. With Administrator Seares were Deputy Administrator for Operations Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana and NTA Ilocos Norte Branch Manager Luzviminda U. Padayao.
Administrator Seares and Governor Manotoc assured partnership between the National Tobacco Administration and the Provincial Government, which includes implementation of various programs and activities aimed at improving and sustaining the tobacco industry in Ilocos Norte, and giving immediate assistance to the local tobacco growers affected by the off-season rain early this year.
After the call, Administrator Seares proceeded to Piddig, Ilocos Norte for the distribution of farmers’ assistance and a meeting with the members of the NTA Governing Board.
