Resty C. Cambe, newly appointed Accountant IV of the Finance Department, and Deevid John Rayze B. Briosos, Secretary I of the Administrative Department, took their oath of office before Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. during the flag ceremony on November 15 at the NTA Central Office in Quezon City.
Cambe, who was Accountant III of Candon Branch before his promotion, was also designated officer-in-charge of the Accounting Division. Briosos got his regular appointment after serving as Administrative Aide IV (job order) of the Administrative Department for one year.
The new appointments came two weeks after the virtual mass induction of 22 employees of the Central Office and the Branch Offices who were given promotions and appointments this year.
The continuous filling-up of vacant plantilla positions is one of the priority agenda of Administrator Seares in strengthening the agency’s organizational workforce, especially in frontline services, in time for the implementation of various component projects of the Sustainable Tobacco Enhancement Program (STEP).
