National Tobacco Administration (NTA) chief Edgardo D. Zaragoza (right) witnesses tobacco unloading at the Universal Leaf Philippines warehouse in La Union this week as he conducts his periodic meeting with tobacco farmers and technicians in the provinces of La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. Tobacco farmers are grateful for his visit as they prepare their farms for rice production this wet season, having disposed of their tobacco produce in the last week of June. |
