NTA Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. has designated Engr. Randy I. Abella as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Branch Manager of NTA Abra effective January 7, per Special Order (SO) No. 035 s. 2022.
Abella will serve as OIC Manager in his concurrent capacity as Supervising Science Research Specialist of the Farm Technology and Services Department. He replaced Minerva P. Mizal who served as OIC of Abra Branch in concurrent capacity as NTA Vigan Branch Manager after the retirement of Esmeralda G. Valera in November 2020.
Before his designation, Abella was assigned at the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Operations to render technical assistance in the various programs and projects implemented by the Branch Offices.Administrator Seares also designated Alona A. Manganaan as acting Administrative Officer V of the Abra Branch in concurrent capacity as Executive Assistant V of the Office of the Administrator effective January 7 per SO No. 024 s. 2022. She replaced Jordan Turalba who served as AO from May to December last year.
Abella and Manganaan officially assumed their duties in their first virtual meeting on January 7of the Branch Office with outgoing Branch OIC Mizal and acting Branch Chief Agriculturist Jose A. Taclas Jr.
