A total of 214 tobacco farmers from Pangasinan and Tarlac received free chicks, including feeds, vitamins and nets, from NTA Pangasinan under the agency’s Gulayan at Manukan sa Barangay Project. The beneficiaries are tobacco growers whose farms were severely damaged during the “freak” rains in the first quarter this year. Among them are Burley growers Generoso Pequet (left photo, with Lorna S. Espanto, TPRO I) of Sto. Nino, Sto. Tomas, Pangasinan and John John Broncano (right photo, with Venbel V. Echalar, TPRO I JO) of Vacante, Alcala, Pangasinan. They received the GMB inputs during the distribution held at the Branch Office in Villasis, Pangasinan on November 19
