La Union

NTA La Union released P11.6 million covering the facility assistance of the Curing Barn Assistance Project (CBAP) for crop year 2021-2022 to its 398 registered farmer cooperators in the province. NTA La Union Branch Manager Dr. Giovanni B. Palabay led the ceremonial releases from January 3 to 11 held at the Branch Office in Bauang, La Union.

Before the distribution, the Branch Office gave the farmers a brief orientation on the project, particularly on the prescribed curing barns/sheds designs for efficient use of fuelwood that results in a reduction in fuel consumption and the production of properly cured tobacco.

Branch Chief Agriculturist Emma Beth B. Fantastico, Senior TPRO and Project Coordinator Engr. Christopher R. Supang, and TPRO III and District I Supervisor Engr. Potenciano H. Apilado assisted Branch Manager Palabay in the orientation and distribution.

Ilocos Norte

NTA Ilocos Norte Branch Manager Luzviminda U. Padayao led the distribution of facility assistance to Ilocos Norte tobacco growers for the agency’s Curing Barn Assistance Project (CBAP) for crop year 2021-2022. The ceremonial distribution, held on January 7 at the lobby of NTA Building in Batac City, was attended by 32 of the 374 farmer cooperators of CBAP.
