Administrator/CEO Robert Victor G. Seares Jr. has designated Engr. Cesario G. Sambrana as officer-in-charge of the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Operations, per Special Order No. 0141 s. 2021 dated April 7, 2021.
Sambrana, the agency’s focal person for its Tobacco Farm Mechanization Program, will lead the Operations Group in concurrent capacity as Branch Manager of NTA Pangasinan. He replaced Dr. Roberto R. Bonoan who died of illness on March 17. The eight Branch Offices, the Farm Technology and Services Department (FTSD), the Industrial Research Department, and the Regulation Department report directly to the DAOP Office.
Sambrana is a licensed Agricultural Engineer, with Master’s degree in Development Administration from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University in Agoo, La Union. He has been the Branch Manager of NTA Pangasinan since 2000, and was designated as manager in-charge of NTA Candon last year.
He has organized farmers’ dialogue and consultative meetings with industry stakeholders on the Sustainable Tobacco Enhancement Program (STEP), and other flagship programs of the agency.
