Hermogenes A. Galvez, Project Manager of NTA Tobacco Dust Processing Plant, retired on June 30 after 42 years of government service. It was an optional retirement as he will still turn 65 on April 19 next year.NTA La Union Branch prepared a simple program for his retirement held at the branch office in Bauang, La Union on Wednesday. Galvez was the Chief Agriculturist of the La Union Branch before he was appointed in 2015 to the highest position at the TDPP in Sto. Tomas, La Union. In 2019, he was designated Over-all Coordinator for the Kahuyang Pangkabuhayan at Pangkalikasan (KPP) Project, the agency’s flagship program under the Renewable Fuelwood Fuel Farm Program.
