Alice A. Malab, Supervising TPRO, and Josefa P. Correo, Acting Administrative Officer of NTA Cagayan supervised the turnover of 425 seedlings of various forest tree species to the officers of the PNP Regional Communications and Electronics Unit 2 (RCEU2) in Tuguegarao City on May 10.
RCEU2 officers, under the supervision of PMaj Benjamin C. Baculi Jr., used the seedlings for their tree-planting activity in Patagueleg, Penablanca, Cagayan as part of their environmental protection and preservation project dubbed as “Plant a Tree Program: The PNP’S New Normal of Disaster Preparedness and Response.”
NTA Cagayan managed the tree seedlings nursery at the Branch Office for its Synchronized Tree Planting (STP) Project under its Kahuyang Pangkabuhayan at Pangkakalikasan (KPP) Program, the agency’s banner program on renewable fuelwood.
